Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures rose on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to increased demand for cattle feed and fresh bets by speculators.
New Delhi, Sep 20 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday rose Rs 10 to Rs 3,014 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 10 or 0.33 per cent at Rs 3,014 per quintal with an open interest of 17,390 lots.

Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
