Crude Oil Futures Decline on Low Demand - PTI

Crude oil futures fell on Thursday due to low demand, with the June contract on MCX closing at Rs 6,597 per barrel. Global benchmarks WTI and Brent also declined.
New Delhi, May 30 (PTI) Crude oil futures on Thursday declined 0.41 per cent to Rs 6,597 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for June delivery fell Rs 13 or 0.41 per cent to Rs 6,597 per barrel with a business volume of 5,589 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.37 per cent lower at USD 78.94 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.39 per cent lower at USD 83.27 per barrel in New York.
