Crude Oil Futures Rise on Spot Demand - PTI

New Delhi, Apr 16 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Tuesday climbed Rs 32 to Rs 7,147 per barrel in futures trade as participants widened their positions following a firm spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for April delivery traded higher Rs 32 or 0.45 per cent at Rs 7,147 per barrel in 5,715 lots.

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was up 0.19 per cent to USD 85.57 per barrel, and Brent crude traded 0.18 per cent higher at USD 90.26 per barrel in New York.
