Guar gum futures decline on low demand. Traders offload holdings amid weak spot market trend and ample supplies.
New Delhi, Sep 30 (PTI) Guar gum prices on Tuesday fell Rs 231 to Rs 8,931 per quintal in the futures trade as traders offloaded their holdings in line with a weak trend in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for October delivery declined by Rs 231 or 2.59 per cent to Rs 8,931 per quintal in 31,620 lots.

Marketmen said slackness in demand in the spot market and ample supplies from growing regions put pressure on guar gum prices.
