Zinc prices fell 0.42% on Monday due to reduced speculation and weak demand from consuming industries. December futures traded at Rs 215.65 per kg.
New Delhi, Dec 11 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday fell by 0.42 per cent to Rs 215.65 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, taking negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded lower by 90 paise or 0.42 per cent at Rs 215.65 per kg in 4,729 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
