Zinc Futures Rise on Strong Demand - PTI

Zinc prices climbed on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) driven by increased demand from consuming industries. December contracts gained Rs 2.10, reaching Rs 219.25 per kg.
New Delhi, Dec 12 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday rose Rs 2.10 to Rs 219.25 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded higher by Rs 2.10 or 0.97 per cent at Rs 219.25 per kg with a business turnover of 4,178 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
