Zinc Futures Surge on High Demand - PTI

New Delhi, Feb 15 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose Rs 1.55 to Rs 209.25 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for February delivery traded higher Rs 1.55 or 0.75 per cent at Rs 209.25 per kg with a business turnover of 4,480 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
