| In compliance to Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR), it is to inform that Ministry of Power vide its letter no. 2/13/2021-NHPC dated 10.11.2021 has conveyed the appointment of Dr. Rashmi Sharma Rawal (DIN 09410683) and Shri Jiji Joseph (DIN 09415941) as Non-Official Independent Directors on the Board of NHPC Limited for a period of three years w.e.f. date of notification of their appointment, or until further orders.<BR> <BR> Accordingly, the Board of Directors through Circular Resolution passed on 03.12.2021 has appointed Dr. Rashmi Sharma Rawal (DIN 09410683) and Shri Jiji Joseph (DIN 09415941) as Additional and Independent Directors on the Board of Company w.e.f. 30.11.2021 and 01.12.2021 respectively. The brief profiles is enclosed herewith.<BR> <BR> It is to inform that Dr. Rawal and Shri Joseph are not related to any of the Directors of the Company and are not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any order of Securities and Exchange Board of India or any other such authority. <BR> | |
