| Pursuant to Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we would like to inform that the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), Government of India, vide its Notification No. 32/2022-Customs (ADD) dated December 27, 2022, in the matter of 'semi-finished ophthalmic lenses', falling under chapter heading 9001 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), imposed an anti-dumping duty. The anti-dumping duty imposed shall be effective for a period of five years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette and should be payable in Indian currency on semi finished lenses originating or exported from China PR. The Company which is a manufacturer of Semi finished ophthalmic lenses, is of the opinion that the said Notification provides insufficient remedy to the issue of the industry and hence, the Company has decided to go for an appeal.
