| We refer to our intimation letter no. IDFCFIRSTBANK/SD/154/2021-22 dated August 26, 2021, informing about the RBI ('Reserve Bank of India') approval for appointment of Mr. Sanjeeb Chaudhuri (DIN: 03594427), Independent Director, as the Part-Time Chairman of the Bank, for a period of three (3) years, with effect from August 25, 2021, in terms of Section 10B (1A)(i) of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949.<BR> <BR> In this connection and pursuant to the applicable provisions of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as amended, we wish to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Bank at its meeting held today, inter-alia, considered and approved the proposal to seek shareholders' approval, by means of a postal ballot, for appointment and remuneration of Mr. Sanjeeb Chaudhuri (DIN: 03594427), Independent Director, as Part-Time Chairman of the Bank.<BR> | |
