The same was placed before the Board of Directors of the company in its meeting, wherein Board noted that- 'the directors in RVNL are appointed by the Government of India and the Company has no role to play in this regard. The Board further advised that continuous follow up with Ministry of Railways should be made in this regard and a request be made to ED(PSU) to make a submission to stock exchanges on behalf of RVNL to waive off the penalty.'
