New Delhi, Mar 10 (PTI) Aikyam Capital Group on Tuesday announced the first close of its Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), Aikyam Capital Investment Fund I, with investor commitments of Rs 205 crore.

The fund, structured under Aikyam Capital Trust, has a target corpus of Rs 300 crore, with a green shoe option of Rs 100 crore, taking the potential total fund size to Rs 400 crore, the company said in a release.

The fund is positioned as a private credit strategy, aimed at providing structured capital solutions to businesses while delivering stable risk-adjusted returns for investors.


Aikyam Capital Investment Fund I is managed by Aikyam Capital Management LLP.

This is the second fund launched by Aikyam Capital Group within a year, following the launch of its Category I Special Situation Fund (SSF).

"With a target corpus of Rs 300 crore and a green shoe option of Rs 100 crore, the fund has the potential to scale up to Rs 400 crore," said Venkatasubramaniam Maruthai, Fund Manager and CEO-Stressed Assets, Aikyam Capital Group.
