Aluminium Futures Drop on Low Demand - PTI

Aluminium prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Friday due to weak demand from consuming industries, according to analysts. The metal for delivery in December declined Rs 2.40 or 0.98 percent to Rs 243.70 per kg.
New Delhi, Dec 6 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday slipped Rs 2.40 to Rs 243.70 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in December fell Rs 2.40 or 0.98 per cent to Rs 243.70 per kg in 3,385 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
