Aluminium Futures Drop on Weak Demand - PTI
Aluminium prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to reduced demand from consuming industries. The November contract closed at Rs 240.50 per kg, down 1.26%.
New Delhi, Oct 25 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday slipped Rs 3.05 to Rs 240.50 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in November fell Rs 3.05 or 1.26 per cent to Rs 240.50 per kg in 2,937 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
