Aluminium Futures Drop on Weak Demand - PTI
Aluminium futures prices fell on Monday due to weak demand from consuming industries, according to PTI. The metal slipped 95 paise to Rs 243.70 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Dec 16 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday slipped 95 paise to Rs 243.70 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in December fell 95 paise or 0.39 per cent to Rs 243.70 per kg in 2,590 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
