Aluminium futures prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to weak demand from consuming industries and participants trimming their positions.
New Delhi, Nov 14 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday slipped Rs 1.85 to Rs 234.45 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in December fell Rs 1.85 or 0.78 per cent to Rs 234.45 per kg in 1,878 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
