Aluminium futures prices fell on Tuesday due to low demand from consuming industries, with participants reducing their positions.
New Delhi, Nov 26 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday slipped 90 paise to Rs 243.80 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in December fell 90 paise or 0.37 per cent to Rs 243.80 per kg in 3,272 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
