Aluminium futures fell 25 paise to Rs 239.70 per kilogram on Wednesday due to low demand from consuming industries. The decline was driven by easing demand and position trimming by participants in the spot market.

New Delhi, Jan 8 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday slipped 25 paise to Rs 239.70 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in February fell 25 paise or 0.1 per cent to Rs 239.70 per kg in 876 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
