Aluminium Futures Drop on Weak Demand
Aluminium futures prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to low demand from consuming industries. The price decline was driven by participants cutting down their positions.

New Delhi, Feb 1 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Saturday slipped 85 paise to Rs 249.85 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in February fell 85 paise or 0.34 per cent to Rs 249.85 per kg in 3,716 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
