Aluminium Futures Drop on Weak Demand

Aluminium futures declined on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to weak demand from consuming industries, with prices falling by 70 paise to Rs 234.50 per kilogram.

New Delhi, Apr 28 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday declined 70 paise to Rs 234.50 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in May fell 70 paise or 0.3 per cent to Rs 234.50 per kg in 4,861 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
