Aluminium Futures Fall: Demand Dips

Aluminium futures prices slipped due to low demand and weak spot market trends. December contracts fell on MCX. Analyst insights included.

New Delhi, Nov 18 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday slipped by Rs 2.15 to Rs 264.70 per kilogram in the futures trade, as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for December delivery fell by Rs 2.15, or 0.81 per cent, to Rs 264.70 per kg in a business turnover of 2,243 lots.
Analysts said the cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
