Aluminium Futures Fall: Demand Dips

Aluminium prices decline in futures trade due to reduced demand and trimmed positions. March delivery falls on MCX.
New Delhi, Feb 26 (PTI) Aluminium prices dropped by 75 paise to Rs 312.40 per kg in the futures trade on Thursday as participants trimmed their positions amid a weak trend in spot markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March fell by 75 paise or 0.24 per cent to Rs 312.40 per kg in 4,412 lots.
Analysts said the cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower. PTI DR DR ANU
