Aluminium Futures Fall: Demand Dips

Aluminium futures prices drop on MCX due to low demand and trimmed positions. May delivery falls by Rs 1.15 to Rs 362.05 per kg.

New Delhi, Apr 21 (PTI) Aluminium prices dropped marginally by Rs 1.15 to Rs 362.05 per kg in the futures trade on Tuesday as participants trimmed their positions amid a weak trend in spot markets.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in May fell by Rs 1.15 or 0.32 per cent to Rs 362.05 per kg in 38 lots.

Analysts said the cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
