Aluminium Futures Fall on Low Demand

Aluminium futures prices declined due to weak spot market trends and reduced demand from consuming industries. July delivery fell Rs 1.35 to Rs 249.20 per kg.
New Delhi, Jul 3 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday declined Rs 1.35 to Rs 249.20 per kilogram in the futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in July fell Rs 1.35 or 0.54 per cent to Rs 249.20 per kg in 4,224 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
