Aluminium Futures Fall on Low Demand

Aluminium prices fell Rs 1.80 to Rs 252.05 per kg in futures trade due to weak spot market and reduced demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Jul 31 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday fell Rs 1.80 to Rs 252.05 per kilogram in the futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi-Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in August slipped Rs 1.80, or 0.71 per cent, to Rs 252.05 per kg in 4,610 lots.
Analysts said the cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
