Aluminium Futures Fall on Low Demand

Aluminium futures decline on MCX due to weak spot market trend and reduced demand from consuming industries. February contract details.

New Delhi, Jan 6 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday declined by Rs 5.15 to Rs 314.95 per kilogram in the futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in February fell Rs 5.15 or 1.66 per cent to Rs 314.95 per kg in 958 lots.
Analysts said the cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
