Aluminium Futures Fall on Low Demand

Aluminium prices drop in futures trade due to trimmed positions and weak spot market trend. Demand from consuming industries eases.

New Delhi, Apr 17 (PTI) Aluminium prices dropped marginally by Rs 2.35 to Rs 369.60 per kg in the futures trade on Friday as participants trimmed their positions amid a weak trend in spot markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in May fell by Rs 2.35 or 0.63 per cent to Rs 369.60 per kg in 105 lots.
Analysts said the cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
