Aluminium futures prices dropped marginally on Thursday due to participants trimming positions amid weak spot market trends and easing demand from industries.
New Delhi, Aug 13 (PTI) Aluminium prices dropped marginally by Rs 2.95 to Rs 349.95 per kg in futures trade on Thursday as participants trimmed their positions amid a weak trend in spot markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in September fell by Rs 2.95 or 0.84 per cent to Rs 349.95 per kg in 320 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
