Aluminium futures prices declined on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to low demand from consuming industries. The metal fell by 45 paise to Rs 255.15 per kilogram.

New Delhi, Jan 20 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday slipped 45 paise to Rs 255.15 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in February fell 45 paise or 0.18 per cent to Rs 255.15 per kg in 2,588 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
