Aluminium Futures Fall on Weak Demand

Aluminium prices slip in futures trade due to weak spot market trend and easing demand from consuming industries. February contract down.

New Delhi, Jan 13 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday slipped by 20 paise to Rs 321.75 per kilogram in the futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in February fell 20 paise or 0.06 per cent to Rs 321.75 per kg in 2,497 lots.
Analysts said the cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
