Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets. April delivery up 0.58% to Rs 349.40/kg on MCX. Demand from consuming industries supports prices.
New Delhi, Mar 17 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday rose nearly 0.58 per cent to Rs 349.40 per kg in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium for delivery in April increased Rs 2, or 0.58 per cent, to Rs 349.40 per kilogram in 105 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
