Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Boost Prices

Aluminium futures climb 1.87% to Rs 365.15/kg on fresh bets and positive spot market trends. Demand from consuming industries supports prices.
New Delhi, Apr 13 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday rose nearly 1.87 per cent to Rs 365.15 per kg in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium for delivery in May increased by Rs 6.70, or 1.87 per cent, to Rs 365.15 per kilogram in 194 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
