Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Fuel Price Hike

Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets. Price increased to Rs 256.55 per kg on MCX due to positive spot market trend.
New Delhi, Sep 11 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose Rs 1.30 to Rs 256.55 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in September increased Rs 1.30 or 0.51 per cent to Rs 256.55 per kg in 4,239 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
