Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Fuel Price Hike

Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets. Prices up Rs 0.35 to Rs 260.25/kg in October futures trade. Demand from industries supports rise.
New Delhi, Sep 22 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday rose 35 paise to Rs 260.25 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in October increased 35 paise or 0.13 per cent to Rs 260.25 per kg in 2,040 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
