Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets. November delivery up Rs 1.70 to Rs 271/kg on MCX. Demand from industries supports prices.
New Delhi, Oct 27 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday rose Rs 1.70 to Rs 271 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in November increased by Rs 1.70 or 0.63 per cent to Rs 271 per kg in 2,396 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
