Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Fuel Price Hike

Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets. Price up Rs 0.80 to Rs 283.85/kg in January futures. Demand from industries supports the rise.
New Delhi, Dec 17 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday rose 80 paise to Rs 283.85 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in January increased 80 paise or 0.28 per cent to Rs 283.85 per kg in 1,529 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
