Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Fuel Price Hike

Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets. Price up Rs 1.55 to Rs 302.50/kg on MCX. Demand from consuming industries supports the rise.
New Delhi, Dec 29 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday rose Rs 1.55 to Rs 302.50 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in January increased Rs 1.55 or 0.52 per cent to Rs 302.50 per kg in 4,945 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
