Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Fuel Price Hike

Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets at MCX. February delivery up 0.25% to Rs 322.45/kg. Demand from industries supports prices.
New Delhi, Jan 12 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday rose by nearly 0.25 per cent to Rs 322.45 per kg in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in February increased by 80 paise, or 0.25 per cent, to Rs 322.45 per kilogram in 2,448 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
