Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Fuel Price Hike

Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets. March delivery up 0.4% to Rs 316.15/kg on MCX. Demand from industries supports prices.
New Delhi, Feb 11 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday rose nearly 0.4 per cent to Rs 316.15 per kg in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March increased by Rs 1.25, or 0.4 per cent, to Rs 316.15 per kilogram in 84 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market. PTI DR DR ANU
