Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Fuel Price Hike

Aluminium futures jump 1.35% to Rs 353.35/kg on fresh bets. Positive spot market trend and demand from industries support price rise.
New Delhi, Mar 12 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose nearly 1.35 per cent to Rs 353.35 per kg in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium for delivery in April increased Rs 4.70, or 1.35 per cent, to Rs 353.35 per kilogram in 113 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
