Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Fuel Price Hike

Aluminium futures climb 0.65% to Rs 369.05/kg on fresh bets. Positive spot market trend and demand from industries support prices.
New Delhi, Apr 15 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday rose nearly 0.65 per cent to Rs 369.05 per kg in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium for delivery in May increased by Rs 2.40, or 0.65 per cent, to Rs 369.05 per kilogram in 133 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
