Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Fuel Price Hike

Aluminium futures climb on fresh positions at MCX. May delivery up 0.5% to Rs 364.70/kg. Demand from industries supports price rise.
New Delhi, Apr 20 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday rose nearly 0.5 per cent to Rs 364.70 per kg in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium for delivery in May increased by Rs 1.80, or 0.5 per cent, to Rs 364.70 per kilogram in 70 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
