Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange climbed 0.75% to Rs 221.50 per kg on Wednesday, driven by fresh bets from speculators and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Sep 11 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday climbed 0.75 per cent to Rs 221.50 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for October delivery increased Rs 1.65 or 0.75 per cent to Rs 221.50 per kg in a business turnover of 840 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
