Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI
Aluminium futures prices climbed on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Monday due to fresh bets from speculators and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Sep 16 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday climbed 0.41 per cent to Rs 231.35 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for October delivery increased 95 paise or 0.41 per cent to Rs 231.35 per kg in a business turnover of 1,312 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
