Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium prices on Thursday rose 1.44% to Rs 243.10 per kg in futures trade on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), driven by fresh positions amid positive spot market trends.
New Delhi, Oct 3 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose 1.44 per cent to Rs 243.10 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for October delivery increased Rs 3.45 or 1.44 per cent to Rs 243.10 per kg in a business turnover of 3,494 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
