Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium futures prices surged on the Multi Commodity Exchange driven by increased demand from consuming industries and fresh bets by speculators.
New Delhi, Oct 22 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday increased Rs 1.75 to Rs 241.50 per kilogram in the futures market, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in November rose Rs 1.75 or 0.73 per cent to Rs 241.50 per kg in 1,970 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
