New Delhi, Dec 20 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday rose 60 paise to Rs 238.35 per kilogram in the futures market, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in January increased 60 paise or 0.25 per cent to Rs 238.35 per kg in 2,770 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
