Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI
Aluminium futures prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose on Monday due to increased demand from consuming industries and fresh positions built by traders.
New Delhi, Dec 23 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday rose Rs 1.10 to Rs 240.20 per kilogram in the futures market, as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in December increased Rs 1.10 or 0.46 per cent to Rs 240.20 per kg in 2,971 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
