Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI
Aluminium prices surged in the futures market on Friday due to fresh positions built by speculators, fueled by a positive spot market trend and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Dec 27 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday rose 25 paise to Rs 241.65 per kilogram in the futures market as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in January increased 25 paise or 0.1 per cent to Rs 241.65 per kg in 3,245 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
