Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI
Aluminium prices rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as speculators built up fresh positions, driven by demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Jan 9 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose Rs 1.65 to Rs 240.85 per kilogram in the futures market as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in February increased Rs 1.65 or 0.69 per cent to Rs 240.85 per kg in 914 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
